This weekend we had a number of wins at The National School Championships. Harry Leask won Gold in J15 1x, claiming the K.C.S Wimbledon Centenary Sculls trophy for his achievements. Also, Kieran Brown won silver in J17 1x. In the J15 1x event, Claudio Galano made it through the timed processional race to the semi-finals but was unfortunately pipped at the post to progress to the final. Gavin Murty fought hard in his semi final of the Championship single sculls but unfortunately he too was pipped at the post to make it to the final. Well done to Chris Phillips who coaches the junior men and is getting them all to achieve great results this year.
