| We have just heard that on Thursday evening, 11th Feb, Duncan Patterson won the Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Sport. These are the annual Sports Person of The Year (SPOTY) awards presented by Culture of Sport, Glasgow. Duncan was amongst many great Scottish sports people including Stephen Hendry, Liz McColgan, Sir Chris Hoy, Shirley Robertson and Andy Murray.
